"Working in the NHS throughout the pandemic made me realise that I didn’t have the best work/life balance and that I needed to re-prioritise so that I could have more free time to
spend with the most amazing people that are my family and friends.

Using a song that really made me and my fun-loving daughter laugh, I’d decided that I would
like a fox to be the company logo and coupled with my love for bright colours (especially on
socks) Vivid Vixen was on the way! When it came to what I would make or sell, I wasn’t sure
at first! There were a lot of ideas including clothing, gifts and apparel, but I’m not the most confident of people and questioned my ability to be able to learn something new. Not only that but to be able to put that intopractice and sell something that other people might want to buy?!

 

This just seemed too much! My partner is the complete opposite of me and can learn a new skill faster than I can read how to do it, he helped me to learn how to make an idea come to life through design.

When I say that I have the most amazing people in my life, I cannot put into words how
much this is true. They make me smile constantly and are the inspiration for the majority of
my designs. Things we laugh about, challenges we face, the jokes we play on each other
and the unequivocal love and support. I wanted to be able to put something out there that
people could use to bring a smile to their people. With that, Vivid Vixen was born.

Thank you, to my family and friends that constantly surprise and inspire me. Thank you to
all of the people who helped me to reach the stage where I am now and to the people who
take the time to look and see who we are.

Until Vivid Vixen can afford to hire some super talented staff, I’ll be dancing round the office
singing out of tune at the top of my lungs whilst making your orders. Feel free to have a
